Chapter Five — General Functions (continued)
Password boxes provide an easy method of quickly querying a password and optional information from a user. As part of the Common Dialog set, password dialogs can be used to query a password, user and domain.
The functions do not store, manage or validate passwords. They only provide a method to query information.
The PasscodeBox and PasswordBox functions are essentially the same except for the name of the field.
All password box functions abide by the Secure Memory Model.
