Chapter Twenty-three — XBRL Functions (continued)
Overview
The XBRLGetContexts function retrieves all the context IDs within an XBRL Object in the form of a string array.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string[] = XBRLGetContexts ( handle hXBRL );
Parameters
hXBRL
A handle containing the reference to an XBRL object.
Return Value
A string array containing the context IDs for the XBRL Object. An empty array indicates an error (XBRL Object should have contexts). Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The index positions of the IDs in the array correspond to index positions that can be used with the XBRLGetContext function.
