The SEC does not permit third-party software to directly submit 13H submissions to EDGAR Next. With GoFiler, you can prepare and review your filing. When you are ready to file, you can use the Send to EDGARLink Online function available in GoFiler to automatically upload your submission into the SEC’s EDGARLink Online submission platform. GoFiler can automate the process of logging into the EDGAR Next system and restoring your submission into EDGARLink Online. Once uploaded, you can submit the filing by clicking Submit in the EDGARLink Online application.

Yes. With GoFiler, EDGAR filers do not need a separate authentication app or software to log into the EDGAR system using their Login.gov account. GoFiler can act as your authenticator app. It has tools to generate, store, and provide EDGAR with your TOTP code so you can upload your 13H submissions with a single click from within the software.

Only certain functions in the software, such as those that restore filings to EDGARLink Online or verify data against an SEC database, require a connection to the internet. With GoFiler, you can work offline at any time and connect only when necessary.
