Step One: Choose your base software.

GoFiler has two options to start building your custom software. The formats you need to file will determine which option to choose. GoFiler+ contains support for HTML editing as well as collaboration tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. With GoFiler and the EDGAR Standard Forms module, you can file an unlimited number of filings, including amendments, for most EDGARLink Online submission types. Amendments can be created from scratch or users can quickly transform a previous filing to an amendment using GoFiler’s Change Form feature.

Yes. With GoFiler, EDGAR filers do not need a separate authentication app or software to log into the EDGAR system using their Login.gov account. GoFiler can act as your authenticator app. It has tools to generate, store, and provide EDGAR with your TOTP code so you can submit filings seamlessly without leaving the software.

Only certain functions in the software, such as those that submit filings to EDGAR Next or verify data against an SEC database, require a connection to the internet. With GoFiler, you can work offline at any time and connect only when necessary.
