SEC Staff to Discuss Covered Clearing Agency Resilience and Recovery and Wind-Down Plans
The SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets will hold an open meeting via webcast on sec.gov to address matters related to Covered Clearing Agency Resilience and Recovery and Wind-Down Plans. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. and is free and open for the public to attend. {expires: 2023-05-18}
During the meeting, the Division will discuss whether to propose a new rule under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 regarding the contents of a covered clearing agency’s recovery and wind-down plan and whether to amend Rule 17Ad-22(e)(6) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 regarding the margin requirements applicable to a covered clearing agency providing central counterparty services.
