On October 14th, the EDGAR system was upgraded to Release 25.3 and now supports the updated Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) Taxonomy. The updated SPAC Taxonomy is now available on the SEC’s website. For additional information, please visit the Standard Taxonomies webpage for a complete listing of supported standard taxonomies.
The staff strongly advises companies to use the latest version of taxonomy releases for their XBRL filings to benefit from the most current tags related to new accounting standards and other improvements.
