When logging into the EDGAR System to submit a filing, the system is currently reporting the wrong date for password expirations. This is a known issue introduced with EDGAR 19.2 that the SEC is working to correct.
Subsequently, GoFiler is currently reporting passwords with incorrect expiration dates in the Information View log that appears when a filing is submitted to EDGAR. This message regarding the password expiration date may also be stating incorrectly that a password has expired. (The expired password message appears because the SEC’s listed expiration dates so far exceed the calendar year that the calculation logic to determine when a password expires is failing.)
Please continue to submit filings as normal. This message will correct itself once the SEC has fixed this issue. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
