SEC Announces Registration for Virtual 2022 Small Business Forum
Speakers at the forum will discuss the following topics:
- April 4 - Empowering Entrepreneurs: Tools to Navigate Capital Raising
- April 5 - Hometown Entrepreneurship: How Entrepreneurs Can Thrive Outside of Traditional Capital Raising Hubs
- April 6 - New Investor Voices: How Emerging Fund Managers Are Diversifying Capital
- April 7 - Small Cap World: What to Know and How to Think Ahead
To promote more inclusive and organized discussions at this year’s event, participants are encouraged to submit comments and policy recommendations in advance via email to smallbusiness@sec.gov. Following each forum, the SEC submits a report to Congress that includes an outline of the proceedings and recommendations for changes to improve capital formation. The 2021 Forum Report summarizing the proceeding and recommendations of participants was released on September 27, 2021.
The event is free to attend and open to the public, but registration is required in advance. Once interested parties are registered, instructions will be emailed on how to participate and how to submit feedback and policy recommendations to be explored at the live event.
The forum’s website will be updated if there are changes or additions made to details on the agenda, speakers, registration, or FAQs leading up to the event.
